We have added to the blog a "What's Aging in the Cellars." I guess I should fill you in on what Church Street Cellars is. I have said we are foodies. Church Street Cellars is the name we use on our wine and beer that we make for friends and family. We have also been attaching the name to the foods we are canning as well. So I guess you could say it is our "brand." Here are the foods that we are becoming connoisseurs and experts of. We make many of our own wines, beers, cordials, butter, cheeses, breads and herbs. We also do our own canning from our garden. We are also learning quite abit about coffee and teas. This coming summer, we would like to try a little smokehouse for ham and hot peppers etc... We will be posting that project as well. So, what the list is logging is what we have going right at the moment. We will be starting a sourdough this evening and will publish a recipe for "Herman." Herman is a great coffee cake for winter and is made from a sourdough starter.
So check back later and we will post the starter recipe.
